You think you’re tough, huh?

I can see right through you

You pretend not to care

Not to hurt

But in essence,

You’re fragile.

You sport this facade of indifference

I can see it’s all pretense

Show emotion for once!

Cold

Hard

Deflecting any human warmth

Any passion

Someday

One day

Someone will come along

To let life in
